Ivana Hrushowy is a passionate mental health therapist and Canadian Certified counsellor. After starting her own healing journey in 2016, Ivana began to understand how childhood wounds, grief and trauma can have a lasting affect on an individual’s life. Ivana specializes in attachment and ego state work to bring healing to the wounded inner child, creating new healthier patterns and healing a variety of mental health concerns. These concerns include the treatment of grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and challenging life transitions. Ivana is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, and is trained in EMDR and mindfulness-based therapies, to help the body to process stored traumas in the body.
Ivana is honoured to be an ally of the BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ and Indigenous communities.

Ivana offers mental health therapy sessions in-person and via telehealth.
Ivana has spent the majority of her career working with teens at an inner-city high school. Ivana has also worked as a community-based therapist, primarily with 2SLGBTQ clients. Prior to becoming a therapist, Ivana worked in the education system as a teacher, and as a clinical support worker for children with developmental disabilities.
Ivana is a level 3 Reiki Master Practitioner. Reiki can be integrated into any treatment plan.
