Jasmine Mulyk

Clinical Intern - BA MCP (IP)

Currently pursuing a Master of Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle, Jasmine brings a warm, empathetic, and approachable presence to counselling work. She is passionate about helping individuals feel truly seen, understood, and empowered, and strives to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Support is offered for a variety of concerns, including autism (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, caregiver burnout, compassion fatigue, relationship challenges, stress, burnout, and more. Practice is grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens.
Jasmine has extensive experience supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, along with their families, with a strong commitment to advocacy, inclusivity, and creating meaningful opportunities for growth.

Jasmine provides mental health therapy for individual children (5+), youth, adults, seniors, and couples.

She is honoured to be an ally of the BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIAP, and Indigenous communities.

Her pronouns are she/her/hers.

Jasmine offers mental health therapy sessions in-person and via telehealth.

Sessions are offered at a reduced rate of $20-65/session based on a “pay what you can” model while completing her Clinical Internship under the supervision of Heather Andrew, MSW RCSW & Mahmoud Shabani-Ghazvini, Registered Psychologist.

If you require sliding scale fees, please set up a free 15 minute phone consultation.

Experience

Through her work with Edmonton Catholic Schools and her role as a Behaviour Specialist, Jasmine has developed strong experience supporting children, youth, and adults with diverse abilities. This work has shaped her understanding of how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence one another, and how increasing insight and skill-building can lead to meaningful and lasting change.

Jasmine uses a collaborative, strengths-based, and integrative approach informed by cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practices. She works alongside clients and families to identify unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and develop practical coping strategies that support confidence, self-esteem, and daily functioning. Her experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities has strengthened her ability to adapt interventions to each person’s unique needs, abilities, and goals.

Jasmine believes counselling is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about empowering individuals to recognize their strengths, increase self-understanding, and develop tools that support resilience, growth, and a sense of meaning in their lives.

About

Outside of her counselling work, she enjoys the everyday things that help her feel grounded and energized—spending time with her pets, wandering through farmers’ markets, exploring fun events around Edmonton, and staying active. She loves playing tennis, collecting plants, and trying new spots around the city, whether it’s a cozy café or a place she’s never been before. These moments of curiosity, movement, and connection help her stay balanced and bring warmth and authenticity into her work with clients.

Natalie is fantastic! She listens to what I need and has great pressure for deep tissue in those stubborn spots. She keeps the conversation light and takes her cues from me when I’m needing the quiet.
