RAPID Neurofascial Reset (NFR) is a neurologically based, active, therapeutic technique that addresses the central nervous system's role in alleviating tension and restrictions within the body. RAPID addresses the body’s perception of threat and danger. By working with the nervous system, this technique reprograms the tissue, allowing tight muscles to relax- leading to immediate and long lasting relief from pain.
This treatment is lotion free and can be done over the clothes, so we recommend you wear loose and comfortable clothing. The RAPID practitioner examines the tissues with his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Once the problem area is located, the practitioner applies precise tension and manual body movements to stimulate the nervous system, and restore normal function. The RAPID treatment may be uncomfortable, but the results are worth it. The RAPID practitioner will communicate with you throughout the treatment to ensure you feel in control.
Clients choose RAPID because of the immediate and effective results. This helps active individuals get back to life. RAPID is ideal for both acute and chronic conditions.
For your first RAPID treatment, we recommend choosing the 30 minute session. This will give you an opportunity to see what the treatment is like, and to determine treatment goals with your RAPID practitioner. Return clients typically choose a 30 minute or 45 minute session depending on their treatment goals.

Indian Head Massage also known as Champissage, is based on the ancient healing practice called Ayurveda. This practice supports the idea that balancing the body, mind and spirit improves overall wellness.
Indian head massage has been practiced in India for thousands of years and involves massaging the head, neck, shoulders and face. Pain and tension accumulate in these areas as a result of stress and anxiety, and massaging these areas provides relief and relaxation. This treatment can be performed with or without oils. When no oil is used, this treatment can be done over the clothing.
This treatment is great for the hair and scalp. When oil is used, it provides nutrients and deep conditioning to the hair, making it healthy and shiny. Even without oil, the head massage stimulates blood flow to the follicles, promoting growth.
When facial massage is incorporated into the treatment, it can also provide relief from discomfort associated with sinus blockages.
This is a great accompaniment to full body massage treatments. Consider booking this treatment directly before or after your full body massage service.
Please note, that if you opt for the use of oil, your hair will be oily following this treatment. Unfortunately we do not have showers available on site so please take this into consideration when booking.

This session combines the ancient healing technique of cupping with traditional therapeutic massage. Cupping is often used in Chinese medicine to treat pain, swelling, scar tissue and bring blood flow to stagnant muscles. Combining massage therapy with cupping also helps to drain excess fluids and toxins from the body. Through either heat or suction, the skin is gently drawn up, creating a vacuum in the cup. This creates a soothing warm, tingling sensation and promotes deep relaxation and healing.
This treatment can be incorporated into any massage service offered by Jarod Jordan, at no extra charge.
Clients have the option to choose relaxation or deep tissue massage for this treatment.
It is normal that skin discolouration may occur in the areas that were covered by the cups, and it will disappear within 5-10 days.

Deep tissue massage penetrates deeper into the muscles to break down scar tissue. Heavier, stronger pressure is not necessarily required to yield positive results. Instead, the Registered Massage Therapist will use strategic movements to relax, stretch and lengthen the muscles, allowing the body to break down scar tissue and activate the body’s natural healing abilities. Trigger points may also be incorporated into the massage, which may cause mild pain or discomfort.
Pressure is determined by client preference. Your Registered Massage therapist will communicate with you before and during the massage regarding treatment goals and to ensure your comfort.
